PLAYLIST – September 24th is National Punctuation Day in The United States. Yeah, really. There is a specific day dedicated to “celebrating the lowly comma, correctly used quotation marks, and other proper uses of periods, semicolons, and the ever-mysterious ellipsis”. For more information you can go there, but we won’t advise it.
Anyway, we listed a whole bunch of silly songs which either explicitly evoke, use namesakes of or contain punctuation marks in their title. Why? You should ask why there is a National Punctuation Day, it’s even weirder.
